ILLINOIS — The breeze is crisp, leaves are shifting into vibrant colors, and there's a certain coziness in the air. That means one thing: The time of year to visit pumpkin patches and corn mazes is here.
Many farms around the Chicago area are bustling as locals and visitors make the trek out to pick pumpkins, collect apples and stock up on all things autumn. It's almost like a right-of-way for the season.
To help with the search, Patch has compiled a list of our favorite patches in and around the Chicago area.
Sonny Acres Farm

Kroll's Fall Harvest Farm

No admission is required for kids ages 2 and under. Tickets are only required on weekends. Certain activities have an associated fee during weekdays. Didier Farms

Johansen's Farm

Heap's Giant Pumpkin Farm

Dollinger Family Farm
