Quiet Sunday leads to an unsettled weather week ahead.

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Mid-Michigan is in for an unsettled weather week ahead with multiple chances to see rain and even a few flurries in the forecast! Starting with today, we see temperatures in the low to mid 40s this morning with a few peeks of sunshine before clouds move in. Clouds stick with us for the day today as temperatures warm into the mid 50s. Tonight we see a weak cold front pass bringing the slight chance for spotty showers and drizzle. Temperatures fall back into the 40s tonight. There is a chance that some spots see clear skies tonight if that is the case, temperatures drop back into the upper 30s for those areas. Monday starts dry with a few peeks of sunshine temperatures again will start in the 40s and warm into the mid to upper 50s for the day. As the day progresses we see clouds increase ahead of our next weather system that will bring in warm temperatures and the chance for rain for most of Tuesday. Tuesday is the warmest day of the week as a warm front moves in allowing temperatures to warm into the upper 50s to low 60s area wide. Rain showers will initially be heavy to start early morning before becoming more widespread for the rest of the day. Right on the heels of this system, another one moves in and impacts the end of the week. Temperatures drop into the upper 30s to low 40s for Tuesday night with clouds sticking in the forecast. Wednesday through Friday, cloudy and cooler temperatures remain in the forecast. Daytime highs reach the upper 30s to low 40s. Right now this system looks to remain rain however if cold air moves into the system that could bring some snowflakes for Thursday and even Friday.
