Raiders-Bengals what they’re saying: Maxx Crosby, ‘Everyone’s got to look in the mirror’

The Las Vegas Raiders added to what's been a series of ugly performances in Week 9 against the Cincinnati Bengals during the first half of the season as the 2-7 Raiders suffered another embarrassing defeat, 41-24.

Las Vegas hasn't won since September, Week 4 against a 2-7 Browns team, and Sunday's defeat makes it five in a row for the Silver and Black. According to Levi Edwards of the team's website , the losing streak, understandably, isn't sitting well with Maxx Crosby. "Sucks to f**cking lose five straight. Sh*t sucks. ... Got to control what we can control. ... Everyone's got to look in the mirror."

Crosby's comments stem from the Raiders getting dominated on both sides of the ball. Outside of the opening possession and a garbage-time touchdown score, the offense couldn't move the ball and averaged 3.7 yards per play. Defensively, they struggled to get off the field on third down again and the Bengals scored on five of their first six possessions with the only stop coming via kneel down before the half.

As a result, the Raiders are heading into the bye week with a whole lot of draft and offseason talk as many on X, formerly known as Twitter, are all-in on tanking for the next couple of months.

The fifth pick could be quarterback range.

The Saints' loss to the Panthers helps the Raiders' odds at drafting a new quarterback, so Derek Carr comes up clutch for his old team, kind of.

Antonio Pierce summed it up well...

Speaking of, where do you stand on the AP talks?
