Rams WR Cooper Kupp will play Sunday at Arizona
Los Angeles Rams receiver Cooper Kupp will play Sunday at Arizona and will be a full participant in Friday’s practice, coach Sean McVay said.
Kupp suffered a lateral sprain to his right ankle in last week’s win against the Seattle Seahawks and left the game shortly before halftime. McVay said Monday that Kupp would be “day to day” but that the diagnosis was relatively positive.
Kupp did not practice on Wednesday, but was upgraded to a limited participant in Thursday’s practice. He is the Rams’ No. 1 receiver, but missed the first four games of the season with a hamstring injury.
In six active games this season, Kupp, the NFL ’s Triple Crown winner in 2021, has 24 catches for 375 yards and a touchdown.
The Rams will also activate running back Kyren Williams , who missed four games while on injured reserve after suffering an ankle sprain. Williams and Royce Freeman will be the Nos. 1 and 2 running backs in the lineup. Safety Quentin Lake (hamstring) was ruled out of Sunday’s game.
