Rapper 50 Cent meets with Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Gov. Jeff Landry met with Rapper Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson on Wednesday, Oct. 16.

Landry posted this message on X, formerly known as Twitter, "A big thank you to Curtis Jackson for meeting with me today! Louisiana is lucky to have someone like him investing in our economy. I look forward to our continued work together to build a better future for Louisiana!"

Jackson said on X, "Me, Shreveport Mayor Tom Arceneaux and Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry had a great meeting today."

In April, the City of Shreveport welcomed 50 Cent and G-Unit Studios to the city. The rapper has spent some time in Louisiana this year, including a visit to Barksdale Air Force Base .

According to IMDb , the rapper has won 15 awards including a Primetime Emmy.
