DALLAS — Ever thought about owning rare photos of the Beatles during their heyday, King Edward VII of Britain's grand piano or a Rolex submariner previously owned by an award-winning filmmaker and diver? An auction coming up in Dallas could make it a reality.

Among the pieces included in the auction are 23 rare photos of the Fab Four taken by royal lensman Tom Murray July 28, 1968, including the negatives and copyright. The photos were taken during a shoot organized by Paul McCartney during the recording of the White Album in various locations around London. Ten-plus years ago, Christie's appraised the collection, which has been widely featured in magazines around the world, at $1.3-1.5 million.

A historic Broadband grand piano made by famed piano makers John Broadwood and Sons in 1879 and bought for the Prince of Wales at the time in 1880 will also be on offer. It's estimated to be worth between $30,000 and $40,000.

A Rolex Submariner owned by award-winning filmmaker and diver Phillipe Cousteau, whose father, French oceanographer and filmmaker Jacques Cousteau, worked with Rolex to develop the watch. The watch was made in 1969. It's estimated to be worth between $50,000 and $75,000.

"We are thrilled to offer King Edward's grand piano, a piece with incredible royal provenance and beauty, alongside the original negatives from The Beatles' photoshoot, which capture a pivotal moment in music history," said Dallas Auction Gallery co-owner Reyne Hirsch. "These items not only represent significant cultural milestones but are also truly one-of-a-kind treasures that collectors won't want to miss."

The Dallas Gallery Auction sale will be at 6 p.m. Nov. 12 and conducted at the gallery at 2223 Monitor St. in Dallas and online via BidSpirit.com , Druout.com , LiveAuctioneers.com and invaluable.com .
