R.B. Stewart Middle School Briefly On Controlled Campus Status Due To Nearby Incident
ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla. – R.B. Stewart Middle School was temporarily placed on controlled campus status earlier today as a precautionary measure due to law enforcement activity in the surrounding area.
The school has since resumed normal operations, and officials have confirmed that there is no threat to the school or its students, according to Pasco Sheriff's Office.
While the nature of the law enforcement activity was not specified, the controlled campus status allowed the school to ensure the safety and security of students and staff while the situation was resolved.
