Ready to show off that yard? How to get your home on The Tennessean's holiday lights map

Good food, family traditions, presents and, yep, lots of decorating: The holiday season is almost upon us in Middle Tennessee.

Last year, The Tennessean launched its first holiday lights map and guide with the goal of making it an annual offering. We saw 35 incredible displays submitted in 11 counties.

We are hoping for an even better 2024 with more lights, more displays and, well, just plain more, but we need your help to make that happen.

So listen up, all you decorating enthusiasts. It's your time to shine. Maybe you're a seasoned pro with dancing lights timed to music, or perhaps you've been handmaking pieces for years, slowly but surely building that ultimate Christmas display. Or, it's entirely possible that you're just getting started with some awesome inflatables, a bunch of string lights and a Danny DeVito-like sense of creativity.

Deck the Halls, anyone?

But, seriously, all movie jokes aside, we'd like to see your house or business on our holiday lights map this year. The process is quick and painless: Just fill out this simple submission form and that's it, you're done.

We'd love to see individuals and families, and maybe even bus tours and limo parties at some point, cruise the Nashville and Middle Tennessee area using our map to search for some of the biggest and brightest lights displays as part of their holiday tradition.

Submissions will be accepted throughout the holiday season, and the locations will be published at tennessean.com starting Nov. 24.

So, submit your spectacular display today and help us make this year our best yet in Middle Tennessee!
