Reckless driver busted with several drugs and loaded gun, Fairfield police say
(FOX40.COM) — A traffic stop led to the discovery of several narcotics, an illegal gun, and arrest, according to the Fairfield Police Department.
Around 4:15 on Tuesday, FPD pulled over a reckless driver in the 200 block of East Tabor Ave. Police said probable cause led them to search the vehicle and driver. A pat search revealed a loaded firearm concealed in the driver's waistband, according to FPD. In addition, police said they found several Xanax bars, cocaine, marijuana, fentanyl pills, cash, a scale, and shotgun ammunition inside the vehicle.

The suspect was identified as a 29-year-old man. He was arrested in connection to numerous weapon and narcotic-related offenses.
