Stephen Reilly bagged a hat-trick for Rathnure United as they fought back from 3-0 down to beat Premier Division side Moyne Rangers 5-3 in their FAI Junior Cup first round tie in Billy Browne Park on Sunday.

The hosts got off to a flying start and were three goals to the good by the 20th minute as Kamil Kutiewicz netted a double, either side of a Seán Burke strike.

Owen Lennon pulled one back in the 39th minute and Reilly got his first goal moments later to send Rathnure in at the half-time break with renewed confidence.

Reilly levelled matters in the 57th minute and, after Robert Flynn had edged the Division 1 outfit in front on the hour mark, he completed his hat-trick in the 69th minute.

New Ross Celtic came out on top in another all-Wexford encounter, as they got past Bunclody AFC 3-2 after extra-time in Butlersland.

Dion Dunne fired the visitors in front after just two minutes, but Bobby Katus grabbed the leveller on the stroke of half-time.

Eryk Borowiec gave the Barrowsiders the lead early in the second-half, but Eoin Dunne forced extra-time when he hit the back of the net in the 83rd minute.

Dylan Wickham proved to be the hero, however, grabbing the winning goal with 106 minutes on the watch.

Shamrock Rovers had ten different scorers as they stormed past Fort Rangers at Peter Quinn Park, with the hosts running out 12-0 winners.

Jamie Pepper and Luke Boxwell both scored twice, while Eddie Black, Dillon Shannon, Raphael Abidoye, Dapo Abidoye, Rickey Dwyer, Chris Kenny, Emmett Quirke and Alan O'Connor chipped in with a goal apiece.

Forth Celtic also marched on with little fuss as they overpowered Callan United 8-0 at Matt Ennis Park. Evan Farrell, Adam Beary (two), Darragh Rossiter, Danny O'Brien, Ryan Busher, Josh Sheil and Jack Mullan got the goals for the Murrintown men.

Callum Farrell and Tadhg Brohan both bagged doubles for Rosslare Rangers as they won 5-0 away to Kilree Celtic. Cian Buttle also got his name on the scoresheet.

Crossabeg AFC progressed by winning 2-1 away to Killeshin FC on Friday evening. Aaron Lambert opened the scoring and Brandon Sinnott made it 2-0 to the visitors just before the break.

Felipe Henrique Hernandes Modesto halved the deficit with 20 minutes remaining, but Crossabeg held firm thereafter to book their place in the next round.

Eoin Rhodes netted a hat-trick for 2018 winners North End United as they proved too strong for Lions AFC, winning 5-1 at Hollygrove. John Peare and new signing Robbie Kane chipped in with a goal apiece.

Meanwhile, Kilmore United bowed out, losing 5-4 on penalties after drawing 1-1 away to Parkville United. Shane Cassidy got the goal for the visitors.

Premier Division

All Blacks picked up their first-ever point in the Premier Division when they played out a 2-2 draw with Ferns United at Casey Park on Sunday.

Shane Pettit set up Lee Kelly to open the scoring for the hosts in the seventh minute, but Ferns missed a gilt-edged opportunity just five minutes later when Jamie Fox failed to convert a penalty.

The visitors didn't have to wait long to draw level, however, as Seán Murphy equalised in the 16th minute, with Seán Ronan -Dwyer providing the assist, and three minutes later the roles were reversed with the former setting up the latter to make it 2-1.

Pettit was again the provider as All Blacks quickly got back on level terms, with Kyle Rankin squaring things up the 23rd minute, and that's how it stayed for the remainder of the contest.
