A familiar store has returned to the lineup at Gateway Mall.

Rue 21, which sells clothing aimed at teens and young adults, reopened a store at the mall on Sept. 20, General Manager Chad Becwar said.

Rue 21 had closed its store at the mall as well as two in Omaha earlier this summer after the company declared bankruptcy .

Toronto-based YM Inc. bought the Rue 21 brand name and intellectual property rights out of bankruptcy and has been reopening stores across the country.

The company's website shows about 70-80 stores either open or listed as coming soon, although as of Thursday, the Lincoln store was not listed there.
