RHOSLC star Whitney Rose issues candid update on daughter Bobbie Rose, 14, following 'terrifying' health scare

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Whitney Rose has issued a health update on 14-year-old daughter Bobbie Rose's condition after she was admitted to the ICU last month.

Bobbie was rushed by ambulance to the hospital after she experienced 'severe asthma exacerbation,' in early October, which can be life-threatening.

At the time, Rose took to her Instagram to ask for prayers for her daughter, and thankfully, she was released from the hospital just a few days later.

Now, in a new interview, Rose, 38, revealed that Bobbie is doing much better, and says that her daughter is a 'fighter.'

'That health scare with Bobbie was one of the most terrifying, hardest things I've gone through as a mom with my kids so far,' Rose told People this week.

Rose and her husband, Justin Rose, also share 11-year-old son Brooks.

The Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip star is also stepmother to the former Awakend president's three adult sons - Austin, Christopher, and Trey.

During the interview, Rose admitted that her daughter was fighting for her life while in the hospital.

'It was really terrifying watching her fight for her life,' Rose told the outlet.

'But she is a fighter and she is strong and healthy. She's recovering and she's doing so much better. She's home.'

However, she admitted that there are some changes her family will have to make in order to avoid another severe asthma episode in the future.

Despite the setback, Bobbie still seems to be enjoying all that her teen years have to offer, especially as a freshman in high school.

'She's a freshman. She is the best,' Rose told the outlet. 'Boys are starting to come around.'

Rose also added that Bobbie 'steals' all of her makeup and clothes.

'Yes, I feel like I just have a better version of me, and watching her grow up is one of the coolest things I've ever done,' she gushed.

After Bobbie was released from the hospital in October, her mom gave fans a quick update by posting a sweet picture of the two of them to her Instagram story.

'Bobbie is out of the ICU and recovering at home!!' Rose wrote at the time. 'So grateful for all of your prayers and healing vibes.'

'We are blessed to have such an amazing community with all of you. Хохо, Whitney & Bobbie.'
