Road closures to effect drivers in Terre Haute

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Drivers may have to take alternative routes as two roads in Vigo County will be closed for maintenance this week.
Terre Haute implementing 50/50 sidewalk replacement program
According to a Facebook post from Terre Haute Mayor Brandon Sakbun, both Wabash from 3rd street to the rail road tracks (near Square Donuts) and Vorhees from 3rd to 13th will undergo a milling and repaving update. Road workers will be conducted on a night shift schedule, working from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. The roads will be closed during this time but will be open for local traffic.
The completion of these projects is expected to be Thursday, October 17.
