Bates Road

Bates Road over the Deer Creek in Lenox Township. Bates Road will be closed to through traffic between 28 Mile Road and 29 Mile Road. Access to all residential and business properties will be maintained throughout the duration of the project. Follow the posted detour. Project consists of bridge preventative maintenance. Project duration through Nov. 7.

Clinton River Trail

Due to a washout on the Clinton River Trail in Rochester, the trail has been closed west of the Macomb Orchard Trail and Dequindre Road. Follow the posted detour route.

Cottrell Street

Cottrell Street between Harper Avenue and Jefferson Avenue in Clinton Township and Harrison Township. The road will remain open to traffic with intermittent flagging operations during construction operations. Drivers should expect delays and are encouraged to seek alternate routes. Project consists of asphalt preservation and resurfacing and is part of MCDR's pavement preservation program. Project duration is through October.

Dequindre Road, Shelby Township

The Great Lakes Water Authority (GLWA) is continuing to work on the second phase of infrastructure improvements in the area of Dequindre Road between Hamlin Road and Avon Road and Dequindre Road between 23 Mile Road and 24 Mile Road. Drivers are encouraged to follow the posted detours and seek alternate routes when possible. Project consists of installation of new 96-inch water transmission main and is part of GLWA project. Project duration through December.

Garfield Road

Garfield Road between 14 Mile Road and 15 Mile Road in Fraser. The first phase of the project is complete and Garfield Road is fully open to traffic. Replacement of the Harrington Drain is anticipated to take place December 2024 through January 2025. Road reconstruction is anticipated to take place March through August 2025. Project consists of road reconstruction and duration is through August 2025.

Grand River Avenue

In Oakland County, eastbound and westbound Grand River Avenue will be closed from Kensington Road to Kent Lake Road from 7 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday.

Hicks Road

Hicks Road over the Coon Creek in Armada Township. Hicks Road will be closed to through traffic between 32 Mile Road and Armada Ridge Road. Access to all residential and business properties will be maintained throughout the duration of the project. Follow the posted detour. Project duration through Oct. 23.

Moravian Drive

In Clinton Township and Sterling Heights between Schoenherr and Garfield roads, westbound Moravian Drive will be closed. Eastbound Moravian Drive will be open to through traffic for local access only. A posted detour will be in place. Drivers should expect delays and seek alternate routes. Project consists of road rehabilitation. Project duration through October.

Mound Road

From I-696 to M-59 in Sterling Heights and Warren. The road is open to traffic. There will be intermittent lane closures to complete landscaping and utility work. Final landscaping and restoration work is anticipated to be completed in 2024.

North Blom Drive and Cloverleaf Street

North Blom Drive and Cloverleaf Street in Harrison Township. The road will remain open and traffic will be maintained at all times to allow residents to enter and exit the subdivision. Project consists of road reconstruction and is part of MCDR's subdivision reconstruction program. Project duration through November.

Riverwoods Drive

Riverwoods Drive between 21 Mile Road and White Cap Drive in Macomb Township. Single lane closures will be in place during pavement preservation operations. Drivers should expect delays and are encouraged to seek alternate routes. This consists of pavement repair and is part of MCDR's pavement preservation program. Project duration is through October.

M-53 (Van Dyke Ave.)

In Macomb County, southbound M-53 at Clinton River Road will have one lane open from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

In Macomb County, northbound M-53 at 9 Mile Road will have two lanes open from 9 a.m. Monday until late October.

In Macomb County, northbound M-53 will be closed from 18 1/2 Mile Road to M-59/Hall Road until late October.

I-696

In Macomb County, Belanger Bridge over I-696 is closed between 11 Mile Roads until 3 p.m. Tuesday.

In Oakland County, westbound I-696 ramp to northbound M-5 and southbound I-275 ramp will be closed from 6 a.m. Saturday until 5 p.m. Sunday.

In Oakland County, eastbound I-696 Service Drive will be closed from John R. Road to Couzens until mid-December.

I-75

In Oakland County, eastbound Square Lake from Telegraph to Woodward Avenue will have two lanes open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday.

In Oakland County, northbound I-75 ramp to Joslyn will be closed from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday.

In Wayne County, southbound I-75 from Schaefer to Outer Drive will have two lanes open until 10 a.m. Saturday.

In Oakland County, Square Lake Road ramp to eastbound I-75 BL northbound and southbound I-75 will be closed through early November. Detour is to continue on eastbound Square Lake Road to Adams to access both northbound and southbound I-75.

In Oakland County, eastbound I-75 business loop from M-1/Woodward to Opdyke will be closed until November.

In Oakland County, eastbound I-75 BL ramp to Square Lake/Opdyke will be closed until November.

I-94

In Wayne County, westbound I-94 ramp to Ford Road/Addison will be closed until noon Tuesday.

I-96

In Oakland County, eastbound I-96 from Wixom to I-275 will be closed until Saturday at 2 a.m. then closure changes to Wixom to Novi Road will be closed from 2 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday.

In Oakland County, westbound I-96 will have one lane open from Beck to Wixom from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday.

In Oakland County, westbound I-96 to Kent Lake Road will have two lanes open until late fall.

In Oakland County, westbound I-96 ramps to northbound and southbound Milford closed and Milford ramp to westbound I-96 closed until late fall.

M-1 (Woodward)

In Wayne County, southbound M-1 will have two lanes open from Glendale Street to Chicago until 3 p.m. Wednesday.

In Wayne County, southbound M-1 will have two lanes open from West Grand Boulevard to I-94 until 4 a.m. Saturday.

In Wayne County, northbound and southbound M-1 will be closed from Adelaide Street to Adams Avenue from 6 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday.

In Wayne County, northbound and southbound M-1 will have one lane open from Glendale to Chicago from 7 a.m. Monday-3 p.m. Friday.

M-5 (Grand River)

In Oakland County, southbound M-5 ramp to westbound I-96 will be closed until late fall.

M-10 (Lodge)

In Wayne County, southbound M-10 will be closed from Howard Street to Randolph from 4-11 a.m. Sunday.

In Wayne County, northbound and southbound M-10 ramps to Forest will be closed from 4 a.m.-1 p.m. Sunday.

In Wayne County, eastbound and westbound Forest ramps to northbound and southbound M-10 will be closed from 4 a.m.-1 p.m. Sunday.

In Wayne County, eastbound M-10 will have two lanes open from Griswold Street to Bates Street from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. through Oct. 25.

In Wayne County, westbound M-10 from Beaubien to Randolph will have two lanes open until mid-November.

M-14

In Wayne County, northbound and southbound Haggerty Bridge will be closed from Schoolcraft to M-14 from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday.

M-39 (Southfield)

In Wayne County, northbound and southbound M-39 will have two lanes open from I-94 to M-153/Ford Road until 6 a.m. Saturday.

In Wayne County, southbound M-39 will have one lane open from M-153/Ford Road to I-94 from 6 a.m. Saturday until 6 a.m. Sunday.

In Wayne County, northbound M-39 will have one lane open from I-94 to M-153/Ford Road from 6 p.m. Sunday until 6 a.m. Monday.

In Wayne County, northbound M-39 will have two lanes open from I-94 to M-153/Ford Road from 7 a.m. Monday until 8 p.m. Wednesday with the following intermittent ramp closures: eastbound and westbound Outer Drive, eastbound and westbound Oakwood and eastbound and westbound Rotunda.

M-85 (Fort Street)

In Wayne County, eastbound and westbound M-85 will be closed from Griswold Street to 3rd Street from 4 a.m. Saturday until 3 p.m. Sunday.

In Wayne County, eastbound and westbound M-85 will be closed from 3rd Street to Grand Boulevard from 4 a.m.-noon Sunday.

M-102 (8 Mile Road)

In Oakland and Wayne counties, westbound M-102 will have two lanes open from Southfield Road to Lahser Road from 7 a.m. Monday until June 2025.

In Oakland County, westbound M-102/8 Mile will have one lane open from Sherman Street to Bridge Street from 7 a.m. Monday until 5 p.m. Thursday.

In Wayne County, eastbound M-102/8 Mile Road will have one lane open from Grandview Street to Berg Road from 7 a.m. Monday until 5 p.m. Thursday.

In Wayne/Oakland counties, eastbound M-102 will have three lanes open from Evergreen Road to Southfield Service Drive until late October.

M-153 (Ford Road)

In Wayne County, eastbound and westbound M-153/Ford Road will have two lanes open at Gulley from 9 a.m. Monday until early November.

In Wayne County, northbound and southbound Gulley Road at M-153/Ford Road will have one lane open from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday until early November.

In Wayne County, eastbound and westbound M-153 will have two lanes open from Beech Daly to US-24/Telegraph from until late November.

US-24 (Telegraph)

In Oakland County, northbound and southbound US-24 will have one lane open from Long Lake to Square Lake from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

In Oakland County, northbound and southbound US-24 will have two lanes open from Long Lake to Square Lake from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.

In Wayne County, southbound US-24 near Will Carleton Road will have one lane open from 9 a.m. Monday through late October.
