The Rockefeller Center Christmas tree is making its journey to New York City!

The11-ton Norway Sprucein West Stockbridge, Massachusetts was cut on Thursday.

It's the first time the tree has come from Massachusetts since 1959, according to real estate giant Tishman Speyer.

The 74-feet tall and 43-feet wide tree will travel roughly 140 miles to Manhattan, according to Rockefeller Center.

It's expected to arrive in New York City on Saturday where it will be hoisted into place ahead of the annual lighting ceremony.

More than 50,000 multi-colored LEDs will be strung over about 5 miles of wire to adorn the 2024 tree. It will then be crowned with a 9-foot, 900 pound Swarovski star covered in 3 million crystals.

The tree lighting show is set to kick off at 7 p.m. ET on December 4.
