Rockford area football players receive All-State honors from the coaches

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO/WQRF) — Illinois' football coaches have weighed-in on the All-State picks for this football season. Several players from the Rockford area were selected.

All-State selections in their respective classes include Jaylen Rakowska of Lena-Winslow, Byron's Jared Claunch, Du-Pec's Cooper Hoffman, Dixon's Cullen Shaner, Sycamore's Burke Gautcher, and Rochelle's Grant Gensler.

Several local 8-Man football players also earned All-State Honors.

Following is a complete list of the local players who earned IHSFCA All-State honors and Honorable Mention All-State honors.
