Rockford man accused of pulling a woman into a bedroom and blocking her from leaving

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Police arrested Shawn Flannigan, 53, for allegedly not letting a woman leave a room and causing bodily harm to her.
On November 4th, around 5 a.m., officers were called to the 1200 block of Elder Terrace for a domestic incident.
Both the victim and a witness told authorities Flannigan blocked the bedroom entrance for about 10 minutes after he pulled her by her wrists into the room.
The witness called 911 and was on the phone during the whole incident.
Flannigan is charged with unlawful restraint and domestic battery causing bodily harm.
