Pop star Cyndi Lauper's set at Glastonbury Festival was reportedly riddled with technical difficulties that caused some fans to leave.

Lauper , 70, was becoming "increasingly frustrated" as she struggled with microphone and staging problems as the crowd began to thin out, according to multiple reports .

She later told BBC News in an interview that she was experiencing some technical difficulties and wardrobe issues, adding that she wasn't happy with the sound, but continued to go along with it and had issues with her silver pants that kept "falling down" as she performed.

However, despite the problems, Lauper said she still had fun. She also has plenty to look forward to.

She's also currently preparing for her "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" farewell tour which has 23 scheduled stops and kicks off in October with two shows in Canada before coming to the United States.

While she has no shows in New Jersey, Lauper has one stop in New York on Wednesday, Oct. 30 at Madison Square Garden .

Lauper said during an interview with USA Today that she decided to have the farewell tour now because right now is the best she she can be.

"It's an arena tour, which I haven't done in a long time," she told USA Today. "I just want to thank everybody, say goodbye, celebrate with fans that have been so loyal and sweet and were there for every crazy-ass concert or thing that I did and I'm excited about doing it. I don't think physically in another five years I will be as good, but now I can do it, you know?"
