Sale of Glenwood delayed for seventh time

MONROE, La. (KNOE) - For the seventh time, the sale hearing for Glenwood Regional Medical Center to American Healthcare Systems (AHS) has been delayed.

According to court documents, the hearing that was scheduled for September 10 at 1:30 p.m. has been rescheduled to September 12 at 1 p.m.

In recent years, Steward Healthcare—Glenwood's current owner—faced financial trouble which left Glenwood to face a number of issues.

A judge is expected to use the hearing to certify the sale of Glenwood to AHS.
