Salvation Army calling for volunteers this holiday season

WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - The Salvation Army of Wichita Falls is seeking volunteers to support both its Red Kettle campaign and the Angel Tree program.

Salvation Army of Wichita Falls said becoming a bell ringer is easy, all you need to do is register at www.RegisterToRing.com . You can ring alone, with a partner, or with your family. The Salvation Army of Wichita Falls said every dollar collected in the Red Kettle campaign supports The Salvation Army's social services programs throughout the year.

Another way to help support the Salvation Army's efforts is to donate items from the Angel Tree. To help, you can contact Lt. Karen Burton at (940) 322-9822 or visit an Angel Tree in a store near you.

You can also volunteer time, and help the Salvation Army of Wichita Falls sort and prepare distributions to families.
