San AnTONY Awards honor community leaders who support seniors
SAN ANTONIO - Three local officials were honored at an event Tuesday for their work in supporting accessibility, wellness, and belonging for senior citizens.
On Tuesday, Seniors in Play, an organization that utilizes performing arts to support the well-being of senior citizens hosted the San AnTONY Awards at the Tobin Center.
The organization took the opportunity to honor Erika Prosper, the First Lady of San Antonio and Senior Director of Insights at H-E-B, George Hernandez, the President and CEO of the University Health System, and Justin Rodriguez, Bexar County Commissioner of Precinct 2.
Seniors in Plad is dedicated to supporting and enriching the lives of elderly people through arts and theater programs, creating social outlets, and helping combat issues like depression.
