Sandra Young

Sandra Young, of Whitehouse, N.J., fell asleep in the Lord Sunday, January 16, 2011, in the Neshanimy Manor, Warrington, Pa.
Born in Plains Township, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary Shopiak Wigodinski. She was employed as a supervisor of inspectors for the Ortho-Pharmaceutical Co., Raritan, N.J.
Sandra in her youth was a second-place winner of the Pennsylvania Beauty Pageant. Sandra was a former member of St. Gregory Palamas Orthodox Church, Stanton, N.J., and Ss. Peter and Paul Orthodox Church, Manville, N.J.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Lesko; and her sister, Lillian Matosky.
Surviving are her son, Stuart Young, West Wyoming; her sisters, Luba Selody and husband, Ken, Somerset, N.J., Delores Goble, Raritan, N.J., and Stella Kislo, Warrington, Pa.; her brother, Dennis Wigodinski and his wife, Delores, Jamesburg, N.J.; as well as several nieces and nephews.
will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Simon S. Russin Funeral Home, 136 Maffett St., Plains Township, with Archpriest Joseph Martin, pastor of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Cathedral, Wilkes-Barre, officiating. Interment will follow in the Eastern Orthodox Lawn of Fern Knoll Burial Park, Dallas. Family and friends may call from 11 a.m. until service time.
