Saoirse Ronan hosted a screening of her new film The Outrun in Manhattan's SoHo neighborhood on Monday, which was attended by fellow former child star Mischa Barton .

The 30-year-old Golden Globe winner bared her arms in a sleeveless tartan turtleneck dress, which collapsed into a sort of inside-out jacket at the skirt, and black pumps selected by stylist Elizabeth Saltzman.

Hairstylist Bryce Scarlett coiffed Saoirse's messy updo for the event held at the Crosby Street Hotel, and sponsored by Sony Pictures Classics and The Cinema Society.

Make-up artist Yukari Obayashi Bush brought out Ronan's baby blues with defined brows, chiseled cheekbones, and a red pout.

The Outrun marks the four-time Oscar nominee's first time producing a movie, in which she stars as newly-rehabbed alcoholic Rona returning to her Orkney Islands hometown.

Nora Fingscheidt's big-screen adaptation of Amy Liptrot's 2016 memoir currently has a 'certified fresh' 80% critic approval rating (out of 61 reviews) on Rotten Tomatoes .

The Outrun was also produced by Saoirse's husband Jack Lowden, who suggested her specifically for the role that scored her the Silver Medallion at the Telluride Film Festival in August.

'He handed the book to me, and he said, "You have to play this,"' Ronan recalled to The Times on September 15.

'Jack Lowden and I were trying to keep an eye on the representation of Rona, how nothing else matters to her except alcohol but also remembering that she is human, so anyone can see themselves in her.

'If you find people that you love and you trust creatively, why would you not want to keep working with them? We have very high expectations for one another — when I tried out Rona's Orcadian accent on him for The Outrun, he said, "You're not doing that, are you?"'

The Bronx-born, London-based Irishwoman quietly wed the 34-year-old Emmy nominee in July after they co-founded their production company, Arcade Pictures.

Saoirse originally met Jack - a Scotsman born in Chelmsford - in 2017 on the set of Mary Queen of Scots while co-starring as the late royal and her second husband Henry Stuart, Lord Darnley.

While at the screening, Ronan posed with Sony Classic Pictures co-presidents Michael Barker and Tom Bernard.

The Foe actress will also portray distraught mother Rita in Steve McQueen's WWII drama Blitz, which will have its world premiere at the BFI London Film Festival on October 9.

Saoirse will also play fifth-grade teacher Maria in Jonathan Etzler's $60M-budget comedy thriller Bad Apples, which is based on Rasmus Andersson's 2020 debut novel De Oönskade.

Meanwhile, Mischa dressed her slim 5ft9in figure in a white short-sleeve blouse French-tucked into a black mini-skirt, red tights, and black ballet flats selected by stylist Adele Cany.

The 38-year-old O.C. alum has not announced any upcoming acting projects following her roles last year in Australian soap opera Neighbours and Lionsgate murder mystery Invitation to a Murder.

Barton made an acting comeback after numerous 'hot mess' headlines including crashing a U-Haul in 2018 and refusing to pay the bill.

In 2017, the London-born, Manhattan-raised actress was hospitalized for a mental breakdown and, in 2015, she embarked in a legal war with her estranged momager Nuala Quinn-Barton.

During her early aughts heyday, Mischa romanced the likes of Josh Hartnett, Jamie Dornan, Cisco Adler, and Brandon Davis.

Also attending The Outrun screening was The Friend actress Carla Gugino wearing a brown-patterned shirt-dress and gold peep-toe heels selected by stylist Jessica Paster.

Monsieur Spade actor Dean Winters wore a cozy black cardigan over a navy-blie top, black baggy pants, and gleaming white sneakers.

The screening served as date night for Swedish model-turned-realtor Alex Lundqvist and his wife, Keytt Lundqvist.
