Saturday’s annual St. Luke’s FitOne races close several Boise roads. Here’s what to know

The annual St. Luke's FitOne event is Saturday in Boise, and as usual, it will necessitate a number of road and lane closures to accommodate the 5k, 10k and half-marathon races.

FitOne is a big fundraiser for St. Luke's Children's Hospital.

The road closures are altered a bit each year to avoid construction along the various routes, so it's incumbent upon residents to plan accordingly.

Here are the expected closures for commuters in the city:

No parking on Warm Springs Avenue from Avenue B to the Idaho Botanical Garden.

W. Idaho Street from Capitol Boulevard to North Avenue B.

- W. Front Street to State Street and S. 6th Street to S. 9th.

Capitol Boulevard from Front Street to River Street.

- S. 9th Street from River Street to University Drive.

- Capitol Boulevard from Idaho Street to Crescent Rim Drive, and Crescent Rim itself, will be closed until the final participant passes by.

S. Americana Boulevard at the intersection with W. Shoreline Drive to Emerald Street at the intersection with S. Roosevelt Street will be reduced to two lanes. Latah Street until the intersection at Morris Hill Road will be reduced to two lanes as well.

Marden Street will be reduced to one lane.

Warm Springs from Broadway and Avenue B to Starview Drive will be reduced to one lane, with traffic allowed to go eastbound only. Westbound traffic will be detoured at Parkcenter Boulevard to continue west to downtown.
