Savannah Phillips, 13, joins her aunt Zara Tindall and sister Isla at Blenheim Horse Trials in Oxford

She delighted royal fans all over the world with her cheeky antics on the Buckingham Palace balcony in 2018.

And this weekend, Savannah Phillips was every inch the doting niece as she cheered on aunt Zara Tindall at the Blenheim International Horse Trials in Oxford.

The 13-year-old attended the event with her younger sister Isla, 12, and mother Autumn Kelly , who separated from Peter Phillips in February 2020 .

During the day, Savannah - who famously covered Prince George's mouth during the 2018 Trooping the Colour - competed in a dog agility contest with her German Shepherd and even won a rosette.

Princess Anne 's granddaughter was dressed practically in a navy t-shirt by the equestrian brand LeMieux, black leggings and some Barbour-branded wellington boots.

The secondary school student - who has dual Canadian-British citizenship - has inherited her mother's blonde hair and tied it back into a long ponytail for the dog agility event.

Afterwards, Savannah was joined by her sister and mother to go watch her aunt Zara Tindall compete in the horse trials.

The royal mother-of-three greeted her niece with an affectionate hug and the pair appeared deep in conversation - with Savannah then showing her aunt something on her phone.

What's more, Savannah seems to have inherited her aunt's love of horses - as her personalised phone case was decorated with photos of her riding.

Proving there are no hard feelings between the former sisters-in-law, Zara then hugged Autumn Kelly too.

The mother-of-two - who is originally from Montreal - looked stylish in a blue-and-white striped shirt, black jeans and wellies.

Meanwhile, Isla - who was happily watching the events from the sidelines - donned a some flared jeans and a floral crop-top for yesterday's event.

Following Autumn and Peter's split, a spokesperson for the couple confirmed the mother-of-two would remain in the UK , where they had set up a home in Gloucestershire.

Savannah and Isla are being brought up on Princess Anne's 700-acre Gatcombe Park estate, where Zara and Mike Tindall also live with their three children.

At the time, sources close to the couple claimed Autumn wanted to split after 12 years of marriage.

They also alleged the late Queen's favourite grandson was 'devastated' by the decision.

When Savannah Phillips was born in December 2010, she was the only person in the line of succession with dual citizenship.

Autumn was born and brought up a Roman Catholic but renounced her faith shortly before their wedding so her husband-to-be did not have to give up his claim to the throne.

Peter Phillips is said to have caused a headache for the Royal Family when he sold the photographic rights of his wedding to Autumn Kelly to Hello! magazine for a sum thought to be £500,000 in 2008.

No sooner had the magazine appeared than Buckingham Palace let it be known that it was seen as 'a serious error of judgment'.

The Labour MP Ian Gibson argued that the British public were shocked to see their monarch in those pages.

He famously said: 'She is the Queen, not a footballer's wife.' Queen Elizabeth, is said to have banned such deals as a result.

Although they're growing up out of the spotlight, the Phillips sisters are recognisable from royal events such as the Queen's Platinum Jubilee - and they're known for adding a touch of mischief to formal royal occasions.

At Princess Eugenie's wedding in October 2018, for instance, Savannah entertained Prince George by imitating the trumpet fanfare to announce the arrival of the Queen, as he looked on in fits of giggles.

Isla put on a brave face when she spent her tenth birthday attending a memorial service for Prince Philip in March 2022, held at Westminster Abbey after only 30 people could attend his funeral the previous year due to Covid restrictions.

Isla was also present for the Queen's funeral, where she wore a riding crop and stirrup brooch to her great-grandmother's funeral in a subtle tribute to Her Majesty's love of riding .

The Princess Royal reportedly declined the Queen's offer to give her son a royal title, therefore allowing him to pursue a relatively normal life, and a similar path lies ahead for both his daughters.
