SB Nation Reacts Week 12 results — Buffalo Bills racing towards late-season surge?

The Buffalo Bills enter their Week 12 battle against the Philadelphia Eagles at 6-5, behind the Miami Dolphins in a race for AFC East supremacy. Since the Bills’ Week 4 victory over the Dolphins, Buffalo’s stumbled mightily against the AFC — the division in which each of their losses have come.

The Bills began course-correcting last week in a 32-6 win over the New York Jets — retribution for their dramatic Week 1 loss in overtime at the Meadowlands. Out of that game and in getting above .500, Bills Mafia have also begun to right their ship of fandom.

It all began last week when respondents voted with greater confidence in the team’s direction following head coach Sean McDermott’s decision to move on from offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey. New interim offensive coordinator Joe Brady’s first task was implementing a strategy to defeat the Jets’ defense — and he delivered an efficient and dominating game plan. Out of the team’s Week 11 win, Bills fans continue to voice their support for the sudden change in direction with only six games to play in the 2023 NFL season.

Last week saw a 4% increase in fan confidence, while this week our poll netted a 61% approval rating in favor of the direction the Buffalo Bills are headed.

Certainly there’s a lot of room for improvement, but we’re once again heading up to greet another summit in the 2023 NFL mountain range.
