School bus involved in crash in east Las Vegas valley

LAS VEGAS ( KLAS ) — A school bus was involved in a crash in the east Las Vegas valley Thursday afternoon, police said.
The incident happened just after 2:30 p.m. near the intersection of Flamingo Road and Nellis Boulevard in southeast Las Vegas. There, a Clark County School District bus and another vehicle collided.
According to police, 35 students were aboard the bus, and no injuries were reported. It was not immediately known if anyone from the other vehicle was hurt.
Law enforcement officials are on the scene, and CCSD police will oversee the investigation. Commuters are advised to avoid the area while investigators look into the crash.
