School bus with nearly 30 children on board collides with 2 vehicles in Elgin: police

ELGIN, Ill. - Nearly 30 children were on an elementary school bus in Elgin when it crashed with two vehicles Wednesday afternoon.

According to Elgin police, the crash occurred at Todd Farm Drive and Braeburn Drive.

Authorities are still investigating what led to the crash, but no serious injuries were reported.

Some children complained of head and neck pain, though it's unclear if any were taken to area hospitals.

An eagled-eyed husband and wife were sailing in Hawaii when they spotted mysterious objects in the distance. Camila and Ryan Sullivan found five scuba divers drifting at sea. A judge recused himself Tuesday from presiding over Arizona's fake electors case after an email surfaced in which he told fellow judges to speak out against attacks on Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign for the presidency. In the Aug. 29 email, Maricopa County Judge Bruce Cohen lamented that he didn't speak out when Harris was called a "DEI hire," believes that white men must speak out against unfair treatment of women, and raised a historical lesson from the Holocaust about the need to speak up when people are attacked. The Oklahoma City Police Department (OCPD) on Saturday released footage showing an officer's alleged use of excessive force against Lich Vu, a 70-year-old Asian man with bone cancer, during a traffic violation encounter in late October. A police officer arrived at the scene and issued both drivers a ticket for an improper U-turn. The impact reportedly caused Vu to lose consciousness, with the OCPD stating that the officer removed the handcuffs after the paramedics arrived.
