Seahawks' Geno Smith gives 49ers fans Steph Curry's 'Night Night' after TD

When Seattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith finally vanquished the San Francisco 49ers , he used a different Bay Area star to celebrate the game-winning touchdown.

Smith gave 49ers fans behind the Seattle bench a " Night Night " celebration, one made famous by Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry and emulated by other athletes all around the world , after delivering the Seahawks a 20-13 win over the 49ers.

Smith used his legs twice on the final drive to give the Seahawks new life, running for 16 yards to get Seattle to the edge of the red zone with 39 seconds left. Then, on second-and-2 from the 49ers' 13-yard line, Smith scrambled left and beat multiple Niners defenders to the pylon for the score.

Smith didn't do any big celebration dance in the endzone after scoring, but Fox's camera caught him doing the "Night Night" celebration once he was back on the Seattle bench, flipping his hands to do the signal on both sides of his head.

Smith had never defeated the 49ers in five career starts entering Sunday's game (regular season and playoffs), all of which had come during his three-year run with Seattle. Now, he's handed the 49ers a loss in incredibly soul-crushing fashion.

Sunday's game puts the 49ers and Seahawks both at 5-5 and into a three-way tie for second place in the NFC West along with the Rams, who beat the Patriots on Sunday. All three teams are one game behind the 6-4 Arizona Cardinals, who were on a bye this week.

The 49ers will try to get back on track next week when they travel to Green Bay to face the Packers.
