Seahawks vs. Cowboys: How to watch ‘Thursday Night Football’
A.Hernandez3 months ago
Dallas is the first team in NFL history to win its first five home games in a season by at least 20 points. The Cowboys (8-3) will try to extend that streak on “Thursday Night Football” when they welcome the Seattle Seahawks for an 8:15 p.m. Eastern Time game on Prime Video. Dallas, which has a 13-game home winning streak, has beaten three consecutive double-digit underdogs by an average of 30 points. The Seahawks (6-5) are close, with Dallas favored by nine, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. QB Dak Prescott is on one of the best rolls of his career, throwing 18 touchdowns and just two interceptions since one of the worst games of his career in a 42-10 loss at San Francisco on Oct. 8. Receivers CeeDee Lamb (6 TDs in the last five games) and Brandin Cooks (16 receptions and 2 TDs over the past three games) have been the major recipients. Meanwhile, RB Tony Pollard is coming off his fourth game with at least 100 yards from scrimmage after getting 79 rushing and 24 receiving against Washington. Pollard has a touchdown each of the past two weeks after getting shut out in eight consecutive games following the opener. The Seahawks (6-5) are coming off a 31-13 Thanksgiving loss to the Niners that was their second in a row, with quarterback Geno Smith needing to end a streak of 20 consecutive possessions without an offensive touchdown. Before the two-game skid, Smith threw for a career-high 369 yards in a win over Washington, according to an Associated Press story. “First off, let’s get him well. Let’s get him really healthy, a whole week of practice, that’ll be good,” coach Pete Carroll said, referring to Smith nursing a sore elbow. “It was only a couple of weeks ago he had one of the better games he’s ever had. We just need to be in sync.” Both teams need the win, with the Cowboys trying to keep up with first-place Philly and the Seahawks among a group of teams trying to make the playoffs as a wild card.More About Prime Video live on Prime Video anywhere in the U.S. It’s easy to find — go to the Prime Video app on your TV, computer, or mobile device, and you’ll see games on the Home page, Sports page, or under “live and upcoming events.” Or, go to the Amazo homepage and click Prime Video where you see the “live and upcoming events” link.
