Seahawks vs. Cowboys Picks, Lineup Tips for Daily Fantasy DraftKings for TNF
E.Wright3 months ago
- Kevin Sabitus/ This week, our advice is to lean into the Cowboys for Thursday-only plays. While Dallas hasn't proven itself to be an elite team just yet, both Dak Prescott ($7.2K) and the Cowboys defense ($3.8K) have performed better at home.
Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith ($5.4K) is typically a fine budget starter. While he's been dealing with an elbow issue, since Seattle played last Thursday, he's had a full week of rest.
"To have two days to be able to rest and recover and work on my body was pretty good," Smith said, per Bob Condotta of the . However, Dallas ranks fourth in net yards per pass attempt allowed and second in passing yards allowed. Even if Smith is at or close to 100 percent, he's a risky play this week. Prescott has thrown four touchdown passes in each of his last three home games and is the easy QB pick here.
The normally trustworthy CeeDee Lamb also carries a bit of risk. Though he's found the end zone in each of his last three games, he's also failed to reach 55 receiving yards in the last two. On Thursday, he'll likely see a heavy dose of Seahawks rookie corner Devon Witherspoon, which could cause Prescott to regularly seek other outlets.
Lamb is awesome, but there's a boom-or-bust factor against Seattle, and he's the priciest player in the matchup at $8,900.
At $6,500, Seahawks receiver DK Metcalf provides just a little bit more value as a WR1.
Neither Noah Fant ($2.7K) nor Jake Ferguson ($4.0K) is a truly reliable DFS tight end, but Ferguson has been the more productive of the two recently. There's little reason to turn away from Ferguson at the position.
