Seasonably cool today, rain to the south

Seasonably cool weather is in store across North Texas today. Morning temperatures in the 50s will transition into the middle 60s later today. A light wind from northeast can be expected along with mostly cloudy skies.

While North Texas will remain dry today, the same cannot be said to the south. Widespread rain will affect much of central and southern Texas today. DFW looks to remain rain-free for most of the week.

Warmer weather will gradually build back in later this week and the weekend with highs back into the 70s. A few thunderstorms will be possible late in the weekend.
