Second suspect in Red Bank Road shooting arrested

HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – A second suspect has been arrested in a shooting on Red Bank Road from back in September.

Dadrian Coleman was booked into the Vanderburgh County Jail on attempted murder charges.

According to an affidavit, a detective with Evansville Police visited the victim at University of Louisville Hospital. He claimed he was in contact with Coleman via Facebook Messenger because Coleman reportedly wanted to buy marijuana from him. The victim said he had a bad feeling about it but reluctantly agreed.

He also said Coleman was in the driver's seat that day of the shooting and there were three people in the vehicle. The victim explained he tried getting into the open seat in the back until one of the passengers pointed a gun at him. When he tried getting back out, the gunman allegedly grabbed him, tried to pull him back in and shot him as he tried to get back out.

Coleman is also charged with robbery and attempted battery.
