Section of I-84 in Middlebury closed following crash

MIDDLEBURY, Conn. (WTNH) — A section of Interstate 84 eastbound is closed following a multi-vehicle crash on Friday morning, police said.

According to the Department of Transportation, the crash occurred around 11 a.m. between Exits 16 and 17 due to an overturned vehicle.

Troop A-Southbury was called to the scene.

Elderly person rescued from Milford car crash

Injuries were reported but the extent is unknown, according to police.

Police said a tow truck was also dispatched to the area.
