GRAND RAPIDS, MI - The sun was shining on Rosa Parks Circle Ice Rink in downtown Grand Rapids on Thursday as people skated as Christmas music played. After about a week long delay due to warmer weather, the ice rink opened at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 30. The rink will take both walk-up skaters and online reservations. Reservations for the first two weeks of the season can be made here . Tickets are $2 for those age 17 and younger and $4 for adults. Rented skates are included in that price. Skating times vary depending on the day. Weather permitting, the ice rink will remain open through Feb. 25.
