Senior Center Activities

York Senior CenterExercise Class will be held at the York Senior Center on Wednesday, July 3 from 10:30-11:15 a.m.

Pinochle will be played at the York Senior Center on Wednesday, July 3 starting at 1 p.m.

The York Senior Center will hold their annual Fourth of July Ice Cream Social on Thursday, July 4 from 1-4 p.m. They will be serving ice cream sundaes, root beer floats and cupcakes. Open to everyone. Please come with the family before the fireworks begin.

Pitch and Rummikub will be played at the York Senior Center on Friday, July 5 starting at 1 p.m.

Exercise Class will be held at the York Senior Center on Monday, July 8 from 10:30-11:15 a.m.

Bridge and Dominos will be played at the York Senior Center on Monday, July 8 starting at 1 p.m.

The York Senior Center will hold their Works in Progress on Tuesday, July 9 from 9:30–11 a.m.

Charlotte Endorf from Humanities will be at the York Senior Center on Wednesday, July 17 from 12-1 p.m. to give a presentation on "Excess Baggage: Stories of the Orphan Train". This event is open to all. If you wish to come to the meal call for reservations by Monday, July 15. We will be serving fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, a vegetable, roll and fruit. 65 and older is $5.50; 64 and younger is $7.50. To reserve a meal call 402.362.7626 ext. 2.

York City Wide Garage Sales at the York Senior Center will be held on Saturday, July 27 from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. If you have items that you want to get rid of but don't want to hassle with putting together a garage sale, please bring them down to the Center in York. All proceeds will go to the Senior Center to buy items to keep the Center running. All donations will be accepted until July 26.
