TOPEKA ( KSNT ) – The Shawnee County Health Department (SCHD) will be holding a free drive-thru vaccine clinic for uninsured adults this weekend.

Individuals who are 19-years-old or older and without insurance can visit a pop-up flu vaccine clinic with no appointment necessary on Saturday, Nov. 9. The clinic will be open from 9 a.m. until noon at the Hummer Sports Park East Parking Lot. The clinic will be open on the north side of the parking lot off of Southwest Tuffy Kellogg Drive while supplies last.

The CDC recommends everyone six months and older be vaccinated against the flu. This year's vaccines will protect against three strains of seasonal flu.
