Shedeur Sanders Posts Three-Word Statement After Wild Win vs. Baylor
There was a lot of anticipation heading into Saturday's game between Colorado and Baylor. All eyes were on Shedeur Sanders as he looked to build on his massive performance in the Buffalo's 28-9 victory over Colorado State on Sept. 15.
Sanders did not disappoint. While he did not have another four-touchdown game on Saturday, he did save Colorado from defeat by forcing overtime with an insane 43-yeard Hail Mary pass with just two seconds remaining in the game.
Shedeur ended up saving the day for the Buffaloes, who would go on and win the game in overtime, 38-31. This marked Colorado's third win in four games played this season.
After the hard-fought victory, Sanders took to Instagram to post a three-word statement about Saturday's wild win.
"Thank you GOD," he wrote on Instagram.
It was a straightforward statement, which was emphasized by Sanders' decision to use an all-black background. The 22-year-old is looking to the high heavens as he thanked the Almighty for what was another eye-opening performance.
Shedeur finished Saturday's victory with 25-of-41 completed passes for 341 yards and two touchdowns.
Sanders and the Buffaloes return to action in a week's time. Next up on the docket is a matchup against the UCF Knights on Saturday, Sept. 28.
