Tampa Fire Rescue says a shelter-in-place order has been lifted, but 30th Street remains closed at Bougainvillea Avenue after a gas line ruptured Tuesday morning.

TFR urged residents within a four-block radius of the ruptured line to stay inside, then lifted the order shortly before 1 p.m.

Drivers are still being asked to find alternate routes to get around the road closure until the scene is clear.

Peoples Gas said Tuesday morning that repairs could take several hours.
