Shooting suspect's night out at Juicy's Nightclub ends with a crash and dash
A man wanted for an armed burglary and shooting was finally taken into custody after his car was spotted outside a nightclub called Juicy's.
The Martin County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) saidGustavo Adolfo Alvarado Mireles was wantedfor armed burglary and shooting into a home in Okeechobee.
It wasn't until November 1, that deputies spotted Mireles' black Jaguar outside of Juicy's Nightclub in Indiantown. Deputies soon realized that someone was still inside the car — Mireles. As deputies prepared to confront Mireles, the vehicle sped off at a high rate of speed.
The car eventually crashed into a light pole, but the sheriff's office said that didn't stop Mireles, as he began to run on foot.
The sheriff's office saidthe 25-year-old now faces fleeing and eluding, drug possession, and driving with a revoked license in Martin County in addition to the previous counts of grand theft of a motor vehicle, resisting arrest, driving with a suspended license in another county, possessing the ID of another person, and armed burglary in Okeechobee.
"Clearly, this was a takedown where the juice was well worth the squeeze," the sheriff's office stated on Facebook.
