GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Florida Gators sophomore running back Treyaun Webb has not played in the last four games. And now, it appears he's done for the season.

Gators Online has confirmed that Webb will undergo surgery to repair an injury, which is reportedly a fractured tibia. He has only appeared in four games and can redshirt.

Webb rushed the ball 21 times for 93 yards and a touchdown this year, averaging 4.4 yards per carry. His best performance was his last game at Mississippi State, gaining 41 yards on eight carries.

Webb has been out since Week 6 against UCF. He was not included last week on Wednesday's initial injury report for the Georgia game last week but was ruled out Thursday.

"Treyaun obviously we'll have a little bit more specific details for you later this week, but in general it was kind of unforeseen situations there that contributed," UF coach Billy Napier said of Webb on Monday.

Webb appeared in 11 games as a true freshman last season, rushing for 163 yards and two touchdowns on 26 attempts along with four catches for 18 yards. He entered this year as the backup to starter Montrell Johnson Jr ., who's been out for the past two games.

Johnson was listed as questionable last week against Georgia and was ruled out as a game-time decision.

"Montrell wasn't able to practice the way we wanted him to. Wasn't the right thing to do to put him out there," Napier said after the game. "It was a game-time decision. He wanted to play. He was battling his tail off all week in the training room. Just wasn't quite ready to play."
