Silver Diner will officially open in Fredericksburg on Thursday. The Central Park location, at 2951 Plank Road, becomes the company's 24th restaurant.

The menu features everything from diner classics to vegan, plant-based, gluten-free and low calorie, with many ingredients sourced from local farms. Silver Diner will be open daily for breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night; hours are 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 7 a.m. to 1 a.m. Friday through Saturday. The restaurant offers indoor dining, plus a three-season heated outdoor pergola with seating.

In Fredericksburg, the restaurant is also partnering with Gwyneth's Gift, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering communities to save lives by providing immediate assistance to those suffering from out-of-hospital cardiac arrest. All proceeds raised during the restaurant opening will go directly to support the lifesaving work of Gwyneth's Gift.

Silver Diner is celebrating its 35th anniversary, having opened its first restaurant in 1989 on Rockville Pike in Rockville, Md.

Recent openings include South Riding, Ashburn and Alexandria in Virginia; White Marsh and National Harbor in Maryland; and Southwest Washington, D.C.

"We've adapted our restaurants to fit into various retail opportunities and we've adapted to best meet our customer demands and needs," explained Robert Giaimo, co-founder and CEO of Silver Diner. "The key to our success has been adaptability and evolution. Not only have we adapted our architecture but we have also evolved our menu."
