Sligo Rovers announce three players have departed days after season ends

Charlie Wiggett, JR Wilson and Stefan Radosavljevic have all left the club. No other departures have been confirmed as of yet, and it is hoped that there will be news in the coming days regarding new contracts for some of this year's top performers. Charlie Wiggett signed for Rovers this season from Newcastle, and found game time hard to come by with Nando Pijnaker and Ollie Denham holding onto those spots ahead of him, with Gareth McElroy and Niall Morahan filling in after Pijnaker's departure. The 22-year-old made 18 starts in total, with four appearances off the bench. Right-back JR Wilson played 30 out of 36 games this season for Rovers having signed from Shelbourne and was a consistent performer for Rovers this year. Stefan Radosavljevic departs after two seasons with the club. The 24-year-old was in and out of the squad with injuries this season, and managed just eight starts. The Faroe Islands international looked like he was getting back to his best earlier on in the season, but injuries meant he sat out a large chunk of the campaign. Connor Malley, Ollie Denham, Wilson Waweru and Stephen Mallon are all contracted to the club for next season, while youngsters Gareth McElroy, Daire Patton, Kyle McDonagh and Conor Reynolds have all signed professional deals.
