SNF: Baltimore Ravens vs L.A. Chargers Prediction and Game Thread

Sunday Night Football, Week 12. Tonight the Los Angeles Chargers host the Baltimore Ravens . The 4-6 Los Angeles Chargers feature a good offense, led by quarterback Justin Herbert, and an atrocious defense. The defense is ranked 31st in the NFL in yards allowed, last in the NFL in first downs allowed, and last in the NFL in passing yards allowed. The result has been a mediocre Chargers team that has beaten just one winning team all season. The Chargers have lost four of their last six games, and a loss against the Ravens tonight would all but eliminate any post-season hopes for the team. The 8-3 Baltimore Ravens come into this game tied for the best record in the AFC and tied for the 2nd best record in the NFL. The Ravens boast the NFL’s 2nd ranked defense and 7th ranked offense. They’ve won five of their last six games and they are one of the top contenders to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl . This should be a fairly easy victory for the Ravens. They haven’t lost to a losing team all season. No reason they should start now, with the #1 seed in the AFC to play for. The long trip to the west coast can be an issue, but in the end I expect this Ravens team is just too well balanced and too good for the Chargers. I’m picking the Baltimore Ravens to take care of business on the road and defeat the Los Angeles Chargers tonight. Enjoy the game everybody.
