So Chic Boutique holds its annual Mistletoe Market

MORTON, Ill. (WMBD) — So Chic Boutique in Morton is officially kicking off the holiday shopping season with its annual Mistletoe Market.

The Mistletoe Market in the boutique's parking lot hosted more than 60 small businesses, local food trucks, and Santa even paid a visit to all the children.

So Chic Boutique owner Sara O'Shea said you might find the perfect holiday gift at a local small business.

"I think it makes all the difference when all the small businesses pull our resources together and create an opportunity for people to come and enjoy and experience places that they wouldn't have otherwise. We kind of call it a Hallmark movie come to life because it is that charm and people can come and shop and just meet new people and meet new businesses that they wouldn't have otherwise found," said O'Shea.

Another small business market will take over Par-A-Dice Hotel and Casino in East Peoria on Thursday.
