Social media goes wild for Geno Smith’s winning touchdown vs. 49ers

Geno Smith had his chance to avenge all of his previous losses against the San Francisco 49ers and keep the Seattle Seahawks ' hopes of a playoff push alive. Not only did he deliver, he personally scored the winning touchdown to give Seattle an amazing 20-17 victory at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara.

With the clock ticking and under :20 to go, Smith found himself flushed on the pocket and forced to scramble. He had his sights set on the end zone and he got there with :12 left. Had he been tackled in the field of play, who knows how many more plays they would've been able to run?

This result lifted the Seahawks out of last place and into third based on the three-way tiebreaker among Seattle, the Los Angeles Rams, and 49ers. It's the 49ers in last place and now 1-3 in the division.
