WILKES-BARRE – Jess Stefanik blasted a solo home run in the top of the seventh to break a scoreless tie and lead Berwick to a 1-0 victory over Coughlin on Tuesday in a Wyoming Valley Conference Division I game.
Margaret Bridge fanned 12 and only allowed three hits in the complete-game victory.
Coughlin’s Jess Luton was the hard-luck loser striking out nine.
