Something Good: Tallahassee’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s hits $65,000 goal

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - Tallahassee's annual Walk to End Alzheimer's hit a big milestone this weekend! The walk took place at Cascades Park and honored family and friends with the disease while raising money for the Alzheimer's Association. Their goal this year was to raise $65,000, and Tallahassee's walk raised that amount on Saturday making it the first Walk to End Alzheimer's in Florida to reach its goal! The money will not only go towards services for families dealing with this disease but also research to one day become a world without Alzheimer's. Our Abby Walton served as this year's emcee!
