SoonerScoop Sights & Sounds: OU 93, Lindenwood 60

OU basketball got off to a nice start Monday evening. A lot of good things for head coach Porter Moser to talk about, and a lot of things OU has to improve upon.

Jalon Moore looked like the leader. Jeremiah Fears looked like the real deal as a true freshman. And the Sooners? Well, they might be able to shoot a bit.

Come along with SoonerScoop video editor Eddie Radosevich for the Sights & Sounds from the season-opening victory.

Moser on bench play?

"I thought Glenn did a nice job. He got a couple rebounds in traffic. He got us going. I thought Glenn, he had three assists too. He got to the paint, kicked it. Got transition. Older wing. I thought Glenn did some good things. Fears came off the bench; I thought he did some good things. I think Dayton came in, made a couple plays or two. We'll get Jadon back—hopefully, in a couple weeks; I don't know how long he is. It's a back thing. I don't know how long, so I'll find out. He's actually been playing really, really well for us, Jadon. We're going to need to be deep. Oh, and Mo!...

"So we're gonna need to be deep. Oh, and Mo! I thought Mo gave us a great — I think Mo when he came in got some offensive rebounds, he had a block. How many blocks did Mo have? He had two blocks and three steals. And six defensive rebounds. In nine and a half minutes. Great stats. For a backup, I though Mo did a great job. Six rebounds. Hell, he had five fouls, man. He's really putting up the stats. That's the one thing we talked about (with) him. I didn't realize he fouled out, I should have known that. I think he did right there at the end. But three steals. And so I thought Mo gave us some energy. Bench did well, those three guys off the bench did some things. And keep cultivating Dayton. I thought Dayton came in there and he did a couple nice things."
