Wheel of Fortune star Sophie Falkiner has tied the knot with her partner Steve Wood in a fairytale wedding in Sydney after three years of dating. The couple said 'I do' during a romantic waterfront garden ceremony on Sydney's Northern Beaches last week in front of 130 guests. Sophie's daughter, Bella, 19, was her maid of honour while her son Jack, 15, was Steve's best man. The couple and their guests, including former Home and Away star Erika Heynatz, later celebrated at a reception at Pasadena restaurant where Bella made an emotional speech. The TV presenter, 51, looked stunning for her big day in a white strapless pearl encrusted gown by designer Steven Khalil. The show-stopping dress also featured a high split and a glamorous long train. Sophie, who had been single for nine years before meeting Steve, had her long blonde locks curled and made a bold statement with a bright red lipstick. Steve also looked dapper for the big day in a black tuxedo, white buttoned shirt and dress shoes. 'The ceremony and vows were incredibly meaningful. All my family and friends were crying,' Sophie told Woman's Day . 'Having both my kids stand up there with Steve with all the beautiful flowers on a picture-perfect day made for something out of a fairytale.' She said she was overcome with emotion during her daughter Bella's speech at the reception. 'I did cry in my daughter's speech because it was everything a mother wants to hear after going through all the teenage years,' Sophie said. 'It's something I will never forget. There wasn't a dry eye in the whole room!' Sophie and Steve announced their engagement in October last year after he popped the question while on a dreamy holiday on the Whitsunday Islands, Australia. The TV star was previously married to Tony Thomas, who she shares her two children with. They split in November 2015. Sophie has never been one to hide her affections for Steve. In a candid chat with New Idea earlier this year, she exclaimed: 'Yes, I'm in love.' Praising her soon-to-be-hubby, she added: 'He's probably one of the kindest men I've ever met, and I feel very lucky. It's relaxed, and he's amazing with my kids. 'He's a solid, good man and he has a lot of character. I'm at a beautiful spot in my life right now, and I'm very grateful for it.' Sophie has presented entertainment news series Confidential on Fox8, while also hosting on The Great Outdoors and Sydney Weekender.
